Singapore, 10 May 2025 – Singaporean author and singer-songwriter Nic Chen proudly announces the launch of “Geo’s Journey to Self-Love,” a heartfelt children’s picture book designed for readers aged 5–9. Selected to launch at the Asian Festival of Children’s Content (AFCC) 2025, the leading event in Asia focused on children's literature and young adult fiction, “Geo’s Journey to Self-Love” weaves together a captivating narrative and vivid illustrations to encourage children to celebrate their individuality and cultivate a strong sense of self-worth.
The story follows Geo, a kind little giraffe who feels that he is not good enough due to the voices of colourful, yet cruel, giraffes in his head. With the help of his best friend, a rabbit named Lily, Geo uncovers the secret and power of self-love. Her encouraging reminders and affirmations helped Geo embrace his strengths and cherish the moments when he truly shined.
