Nic Chen Releases “Change,” a Soul-Stirring Second Single About Courage

Singapore, 27 December 2025 - Singaporean singer-songwriter and author, Nic Chen continues her journey of emotional and philosophical exploration with her latest single “Change,” released today as the second track from her forthcoming 2026 album About Life.
Where her previous single “Life Worth Living” asked what makes life meaningful, “Change” takes on the challenge of transformation. It’s a track that acknowledges how hard it can be to take that leap-whether it’s a career move, entering a relationship, or simply stepping into a new chapter.
“Change is scary, especially when you're standing on the edge of it,” says Nicole. “But not changing and staying in what’s familiar just because it’s safe that can be even more painful. This song is for anyone who’s been stuck in that tension.”
Musically, “Change” unfolds in waves. Beginning with a sparse, almost whispered intro, it builds into a lush, cinematic arrangement featuring ambient synths, soft piano, and airy string sections.
